Research at Foot and Ankle Center of Iowa

Foot and Ankle Center of Iowa is currently conducting the first clinical study evaluating Incrediwear sleeves during recovery from bunion surgery. This randomized, double-blind clinical investigation is studying whether semiconductor-embedded sleeves may help reduce swelling, decrease pain, and improve recovery after hallux valgus correction surgery.

The study is being led by the surgical team at Foot and Ankle Center of Iowa and follows patients for a 12-week recovery period while measuring swelling, pain levels, and functional outcomes after surgery.
